Although it looks a little off gold color in the photo and real life, it looks fine w/ several different shades of other gold chains I have. I decided to purchase the earrings which are the same size as the pendant. It has a nice simple elegance w/ an eastern flair. I'm not concerned w/ the gold wearing off of the pendant, but I am a little concerned over the earrings wire's gold wearing off. I'll add an addendum if this happens.
